2024 – what a year it has been! From new partnerships to personal employees’ achievements, 2024 was all about pushing boundaries and accomplishing goals together. We’re grateful for the incredible efforts of our team and the support of our clients and partners. Here’s to celebrating what we’ve accomplished and gearing up for an even brighter 2025!
In-house employee trainings
2024 was a year filled with employee growth and development. Throughout the year, we continued our in-house employee training program, delivering over 25 training sessions led by our talented team members! This initiative encourages employees to select topics they are passionate and knowledgeable about, creating engaging sessions to share their expertise with colleagues.
From mastering various programs and tools to communication training led by First Impression specialists, as well as sessions on handling complex situations, the range of topics has been both diverse and impactful. This collaborative approach to learning not only enhances individual skills but also fosters a culture of empowerment and shared knowledge across the company.

- Case study with Dispute Help sharing our latest integrated tools Ethoca Alerts and Verifi Inc. Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR) for chargeback management improvement.

Seminars, conferences and fairs: where could you’ve spotted us?
2024 was full of new connections. PAYSTRAX employees attended over 20 international conferences, seminars, and professional gatherings to stay ahead of the latest innovations and trends, network with leaders in the payments industry, and showcase our services to other sectors. At one event, Tool Fair 2024, we even hosted our own booth, presenting tailored payment solutions for the construction industry!

Enhancing our services remains one of our top priorities. This year, we formed three key partnerships that enable us to elevate the quality of what we offer. These collaborations help us drive innovation and ensure we continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.
- Partnership with Cardstream: The payment gateway that enhances our ability to offer seamless, secure, and scalable payment solutions to clients, ensuring smoother transactions and greater reliability.
- Partnership with FeatureSpace: Advanced fraud detection and risk management tools strengthen our ability to protect clients from fraud and unauthorised activities, providing enhanced security and peace of mind.
- Partnership with Dispute Help: The expertise in managing chargebacks and payment disputes empowers us to offer a streamlined and efficient resolution process, minimising client downtime and protecting their revenue.
Year of recognition
During the year we were nominated for many different awards and won several! Notably, we earned the Company of the Year award at the Lithuanian Fintech Awards and Best New Payment Brand at the PayTech Awards. We also received a Top Company certificate with a recommendation from Rekvizitai.lt. Being recognised amongst other great companies in the industry is a great honour for us.
Sport initiatives
The year wasn’t just about company achievements—our employees also reached personal milestones by participating in various sports events! Vilties Bėgimas 2024 (Hope Run), the Vilnius Half-Marathon, Vilnius Marathon, the Sustainable Business League (walking challenge), Wings for Life 2024 Run, and the International Banks and Financial Institutions Tennis Cup were all opportunities for PAYSTRAX employees to showcase their physical abilities, achieve personal goals, and contribute to meaningful causes through donations to various charities.
New PAYSTRAX website
This year, we gave our website a fresh new look and enhanced it with exciting features! The updated design ensures a more user-friendly experience, while the added functionalities make it easier than ever to explore our services and stay informed.
COP 2023 registration
In 2024, PAYSTRAX proudly submitted our Communication of Progress (COP) report to the United Nations Global Compact! This report highlights our achievements and outlines our future plans aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We are dedicated to driving meaningful actions toward shared social and environmental goals.
LinkedIn news
Over the year our LinkedIn page reached 4000 followers, we released a new post series including our employees and their knowledge, released a newsletter, and engaged with thousands of people all over the world and industries. We are grateful for such a supporting community on our social media channel, and we can’t wait to share more exciting news with everyone!
PAYSTRAX events
Every year, we host a variety of exciting events that bring our team together, and 2024 was no exception! The season began with our annual Thank You, Iceland (Takk, Ísland) event, where employees and friends of the company joined us in celebrating Vilnius City together with PAYSTRAX. The summer concluded with our annual Kick-Off team-building event, uniting employees from around the globe in one place. As the year came to a close, Christmas parties in each office filled the season with joy and camaraderie.
Throughout the year, we also enjoyed many smaller events, such as our Friday Brunch tradition, game nights, birthday celebrations, and more. We’re grateful for the opportunities to connect outside of work, strengthening our bonds and fostering a sense of community.
Sharing knowledge with students
This year was full of exciting firsts. For the first time, we welcomed a group of students to our office to share our company story and what we do. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce future specialists to the payments industry, highlighting potential career paths and the diverse fields within it.
Additionally, our CEO, Johannes, visited the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Vilnius University to deliver a guest lecture for students of Global Business Strategy. He shared valuable insights and lessons learned from building and selling a successful payments company in Iceland and his journey to Lithuania to establish a new one.
