PAYSTRAX, payment acquirer, has a lot of close connections with Iceland. Company roots start there – founders are from Iceland. Also, we are based in Lithuania, the country whose independence first was recognized by Iceland. Thank you, Iceland event is Lithuanians way of appreciating this gesture and saying thank you.
Open house party
As part of PAYSTRAX tradition, we proudly sponsored the Thank you, Iceland / Takk, Island city festival and held an Open House party at our office on Islandijos Street for our friends and business partners. We were glad to welcome people from recruitment agencies that help us grow and find new talents to join our teams, office neighbors and our collaborative partners. Also, this year we were honored to welcome delegates from Embassy of Iceland in Helsinki, NATO military representative from Iceland and other valuable guests.
We had a lot of great talks about Icelandic culture and our company’s growth. Popular Icelandic songs were turned into karaoke and sang by our founders and guests from Iceland.
After wonderful time in our PAYSTRAX office, the guests and employees were invited to continue celebrating together with Vilnius city on Islandijos Street. Vilnius, Reykjavik and Kyiv gathered together and presented a lot of different activities: film showcasing, concerts, stand-up shows, discussions about the victories of freedom and other entertainment. Islandijos Street was packed with people enjoying the event of freedom together.
