In 2002 Jóhannes co-founded and led a payment service provider, KORTA PAY (now RAPYD Europe), which... revolutionised the Icelandic financial transaction market and gained a significant share of the domestic market. The President of Iceland presented Jóhannes with the annual Management Award for Entrepreneurship of Stjornvisi, a non-profit organisation for management excellence in Iceland. In 2018 Jóhannes co-founded PAYSTRAX in Lithuania and has been leading the company to excellence in acquiring since then.

Gunnar was one of the co-founders of KORTA PAY where he worked as Chief Technical Officer and Chief ...Architect, directing the company’s technical infrastructure. This included managing payment systems and establishing connections with major entities such as Visa, Mastercard, and domestic payment systems. At PAYSTRAX, he leads the management of all IT infrastructure, ensuring streamlined and efficient payment transactions.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial and retail sectors, Bjarni Thor has played a pivot...al role as the Chief Commercial Officer at PAYSTRAX. In this capacity, he is responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing and sales. His extensive background encompasses acquiring, software, services, and hardware solutions for banking institutions and merchants. As the CCO of PAYSTRAX, Bjarni Thor oversees marketing, sales, and service for both merchants and partners.

Kristina, our CFO, is an accomplished manager with comprehensive experience in finance, tax, and acc...ounting, acquired over 9 years at EY. She now leads the financial team at PAYSTRAX, managing company finance processes, overseeing financial planning and performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

Rokas, PAYSTRAX CSRO, has a wealth of expertise in Cyber Security and IT. At PAYSTRAX, he develops a...nd implements effective policies and practices to secure sensitive data. He also manages a team of transaction monitoring, risk managers, and information security specialists, ensuring compliance with industry security standards and procedures.

Our COO, Povilas, has been in the payment industry since 2015, gaining substantial experience in ope...rations. At PAYSTRAX, he oversees all merchant and partner operations, including the onboarding process, while also managing our entire operations team. Povilas focuses on enhancing efficiency in merchant due diligence, onboarding, and related procedures.

Gintarė, our CCO, brings more than 15 years of legal and compliance expertise gained from her roles... in major banks and law firms. At PAYSTRAX, she heads the compliance team, ensuring regulatory adherence, promoting industry standards awareness among employees and overseeing the implementation of new regulations.
