How long does the payment gateway integration take?
Integration time depends on the setup: merchants using one of PAYSTRAX’s supported e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, and others) can typically go live faster via a plug-in or pre-built module, while a custom API integration takes longer and depends on your development resources.
Should I choose server-to-server API or the JavaScript widget?
It depends on your technical resources. The server-to-server API is more flexible but requires more development experience. The COPYandPAY JavaScript widget needs less technical knowledge and reduces PCI scope, but offers less flexibility than the full API.
Is the payment gateway optimised for mobile?
Yes. With the PAYSTRAX Mobile SDK, you can adapt your checkout for mobile devices and let customers pay easily on their phones.
What platforms are supported for online payment gateway integration?

Do both integration methods accept Google Pay and Apple Pay?
Yes. It doesn’t matter which integration method you choose, you will be able to accept both Apple Pay and Google Pay if this is in your contract with us.
Can you change the integration method later?
Yes. If your chosen method no longer fits your needs, you can switch. Contact your account manager and they will guide you through the process.
