Multi-currency acceptance
What is multi-currency payment processing and how does settlement work across currencies?
It’s the ability to accept payments in multiple currencies at checkout, so customers pay in their own currency while the transaction still processes smoothly on the backend. Settlement works separately from acceptance: merchants choose one or more settlement currencies, and PAYSTRAX converts and pays out funds accordingly – so a business can accept dozens of currencies from customers while settling into just the ones that suit its own accounts.
Can customers choose their preferred currency during the checkout process?
Yes. The customer can choose the currency at the checkout from your provided list or geographical settings. Available currencies are those the merchant enables.
Can I choose several processing currencies for payment acceptance?
Yes! You can choose unlimited currencies according to your markets.
Is there a limit to the number of currencies that can be accepted on the website?
No. With our solutions you can accept all ISO currencies on your website.

What settlement currency can I choose?
At the moment we offer 17 settlement currencies: Australian Dollar, British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Czech Koruna, Danish Krone, Euro, Hungarian Forint, Iceland Krona, Japanese Yen, New Zealand Dollar, Norwegian Krone, Polish Zloty, Romanian Leu, Singaporean Dollar, Swedish Krona, Swiss Franc, and US Dollar. Some settlement currency limitations may be applied to certain merchant category codes.
